About Monarch

In 1951, David Friedman needed booths for a restaurant that was due to be installed in a week. After going to a local woodworking shop to quickly produce the furniture, David realized that he could produce millwork for his customers and add it to the growing package of services that Paramount Fountain and Restaurant Supply Corporation provided. He soon started Monarch Store Fixture Company.

Fifty years later, Monarch Industries, Inc., as it became known, has grown into its five facilities and nearly one million square feet of manufacturing. Monarch now manufactures architectural millwork, retail fixtures, custom casework, and graphical displays for a growing customer base of local and national restaurants, retailers, hotels, casinos, residential developers, and general contractors. The company has grown its reputation with a very fine finish and the ability to meet rapid deadlines.

• Monarch builds, finishes, and installs over $65 million of millwork and store fixtures a year. This earned Monarch 6th place overall in a recent survey by the National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers among wood producers.
